In my drawings I try to give the viewer a role. A feeling of being part of it. A feeling of being there at the time, at the moment. Although this scene is an actual setting within Algonquin, I choose not to name it. To me it captures the essence of the park itself, the qualities of so many lakes, of so many memories. Our children will be the guardians. Today they hold our hope for the future. Tomorrow they will hold the future of the park itself. It will be their time to manage, to care for, to enjoy, to instil to memory....Natures Treasure's.
